Arcadia Public School acknowledged the sacrifice and courage of our service personnel at our school ANZAC service on Friday April 29. It was a great honour to welcome Major General The Honourable Justice Paul Brereton AM, Captain Sue Brereton, returned servicemen Antony Spano and David Sturmer and Mr Matt Kean MP to Arcadia PS. They were most impressed with our students who spoke and behaved with such confidence and respect, and the warm greeting they received over a cup of tea in the canteen. Our captains and vice captains, Ashlea, Oliver, Tsara and Joel not only spoke beautifully, they looked extremely proud in the fabulous new Arcadia Public School blazers purchased by our generous PandC for wear on such occasions. They will wear them once again on June 2 as they represent our school at NSW State Parliament House where they have been invited to a student leader morning tea and tour by Mr Matt Kean MP.
