AN­ZAC Day Cer­e­mony

De­spite be­ing a non­school day, a num­ber of Mid­dle Du­ral PS stu­dents at­tended the AN­ZAC Day cer­e­mony at Glenorie RSL. Ac­com­pa­nied by Prin­ci­pal Ann Mills and teacher Sue McLen­nan, the group marched be­hind the school ban­ner to the cer­e­mony. Mrs Mills proudly wore the medals awarded to her fa­ther. Dur­ing the cer­e­mony, school cap­tains Rachael and Cameron led the read­ing of a prayer and laid a wreath. Moth­ers’ Day Stall

Congratulations to our fundrais­ers and thanks to all of the parents who do­nated presents. Our moth­ers’ Day stall made a profit of more than $300, which will go to the fund­ing of our 125 year An­niver­sary.

On Fri­day May 6, Mid­dle Du­ral hosted the an­nual Small Schools Cross Coun­try Car­ni­val in beautiful weather. Stu­dents from An­nan­grove and Hill­side Pub­lic Schools at­tended with stu­dents run­ning, or walk­ing, between one and three kilo­me­ters depend­ing on age. All stu­dents, teachers and parents en­joyed a sausage siz­zle fol­low­ing the run thanks to our PandC. A big thank you to Sports co­or­di­na­tor Joanne Urio for or­ga­niz­ing a great day.
