I am an Australian born Pakistani muslim. I will be attending year 11 at Mount St Benedict College. I have a passion for humanitarian studies and enjoy reading. I am 15 years old and was born on the 21st March.
The 21st March is the International Day for Elimination of Racial Discrimination otherwise known as Harmony Day. For the past 2 years, I have done something to mark Harmony Day by trying to give back to the community.
In 2016, I hosted an event at the Careflight Base in Westmead to celebrate Harmony Day. I raised just under $4000 and all the proceeds went to Careflight. In 2016, I was also nominated for John Lincoln Youth Community Service Award as part of the Office of the Order of Australia.
In 2017, I cut off 17cm of my hair and donated it to a charity called the Little Princess Trust. This year I hosted an event to celebrate Harmony Day in order to signify and spread a message of
