• Fri­day May 18 and Satur­day May 19: Ac­tion Dance Academy Fundraiser: The Ac­tion Dance Academy have or­gan­ised three fundrais­ing events over two days for school chil­dren. A won­der­ful ini­tia­tive of Di­rec­tor Jodie Wil­liams.

• Mon­day May 21st: DV-Alert Pub­lic Train­ing Ses­sions:

We have se­cured two special train­ing ses­sions for our com­mu­nity. The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shel­ter are host­ing these ses­sions at the Hornsby RSL Club. The ses­sions are only 1.5hrs long. Learn the ba­sics to recog­nise the signs of do­mes­tic violence, re­spond ap­pro­pri­ately and re­fer the case if nec­es­sary. These ses­sions are pre­sented by Life­line and are free. Al­though reg­is­tra­tion through the Life­line sys­tem is re­quired. Re­fresh­ments will be provided. Park­ing is avail­able in the carpark on Wil­liams Street ad­ja­cent to the Club.

• Wed­nes­day May 23rd: Vol­un­teer Thank You Night:

Call­ing all our vol­un­teers to a special night to cel­e­brate you. Call­ing our Gar­den­ers, Cooks, St Ives Cof­fee Crew, Apron Project Vol­un­teers, Well-Be­ing Ed­u­ca­tors, Christ­mas Wrap­pers and or­gan­is­ers of in­de­pen­dent events that raise money for our Shel­ter. Please join us at Asquith Mag­pies for a special night and be a part of Cap­i­tal Campaign: "Build a Bet­ter Fu­ture" Launch.
