Activities Coming Up for Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Womens Shelter
• Friday May 18 and Saturday May 19: Action Dance Academy Fundraiser: The Action Dance Academy have organised three fundraising events over two days for school children. A wonderful initiative of Director Jodie Williams.
• Monday May 21st: DV-Alert Public Training Sessions:
We have secured two special training sessions for our community. The Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter are hosting these sessions at the Hornsby RSL Club. The sessions are only 1.5hrs long. Learn the basics to recognise the signs of domestic violence, respond appropriately and refer the case if necessary. These sessions are presented by Lifeline and are free. Although registration through the Lifeline system is required. Refreshments will be provided. Parking is available in the carpark on Williams Street adjacent to the Club.
• Wednesday May 23rd: Volunteer Thank You Night:
Calling all our volunteers to a special night to celebrate you. Calling our Gardeners, Cooks, St Ives Coffee Crew, Apron Project Volunteers, Well-Being Educators, Christmas Wrappers and organisers of independent events that raise money for our Shelter. Please join us at Asquith Magpies for a special night and be a part of Capital Campaign: "Build a Better Future" Launch.
