A spot of ritual combat for fun and profit

Games Master - - REVIEW | DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN 2 -

Arenas are scattered across the world, and offer the chance to batter other characters in return for some potent rewards.

Chests and piles of bodies supply additional items, and skeletons patrol the fringes, looking for a chance to take out one of the duellists themselves. Combat isn’t the whole of the game, but the arenas are a great way to improve characters’ attributes, and bring a welcome touch of focus to a game that, although linear, quickly fills up with so many quests you can feel lost, reading your journal every time you switch on just to get a handle on what to do next.
