My oranges and blueberries are bitter, and my daughter's passionfruit was also very bitter this year. Can you help me out?

Phil Dudman says A few factors can cause fruit to taste less sweet than they should. Make sure your fruit are fully ripened before picking. If you pick some blueberries or oranges and they don't taste right, they may not be ready, so try again later. Passionfruit fall to the ground when fully ripe. Soil nutrients, or lack thereof, affect fruit flavour, so give your fruiting plants regular applications of a flower and fruit fertiliser. Too much watering or lengthy periods of heavy rainfall, can also affect flavour.
