Everything old is new again
When my husband retired last year, his first project was to build me a potting shed. Having spent a lifetime working in antiques and restoration, he used all recycled materials, apart from the weathervane. His own shed yielded the bricks for the floor and paving, as well as the Huon pine weatherboards, pine French doors, and beautiful old eight-panelled windows, which I thought were past redemption. The workbench was $10 at the tip shop. The transparent upper walls and roof make it a great hothouse, and the elderflower will shade it well in summer. I love it.
