Over 55s resort grand opening
Community supports new development
POTENTIAL buyer Stephen Parke said “impressive was an understatement” as he walked through the display home of the Lockyer Valley Residential Village at its grand opening on Saturday.
“I’m very interested,” Mr Parke said.
“The quality of the house is superb and it’s a very nice location.
“The resort will have a community centre, a men’s shed, a women’s shed and a pool – but I’m mostly interested in the men’s shed because I’m into restoration.”
The grand opening featured free coffees, a free sausage sizzle provided by IGA SUPA Gatton, and free helicopter rides for all EOIS.
PEART Land’s managing director Mark Peart said as the developer they were motivated to make it a great resort.
“Everyone seems to love the display, and today is a great turn-out,” he said.
The village is designed for active retirees looking to downsize but not sacrifice on quality, lifestyle or community.
