Lyrics of our Val­ley are hailed a huge suc­cess

ABOUT 700 peo­ple poured into Gat­ton’s Lit­tle­ton Park for the First Lyrics of the Lock­yer.

Held on Fa­ther’s Day, at­ten­dees en­joyed live mu­sic from lo­cal mu­si­cians, mar­ket stalls and lo­cal food and drinks.

Lock­yer Com­mu­nity Cen­tre com­mu­nity de­vel­op­ment co­or­di­na­tor Linda Roberts thanked all event spon­sors, per­form­ers, staff and vol­un­teers who con­trib­uted.

“They all worked so hard to make this event a re­al­ity,” Ms Roberts said.

“Every­one had a lot of fun and the mu­sic was su­perb.

“It was an in­cred­i­ble day and we are hop­ing to make it an an­nual event.”
