NOW there are even more rea­sons to be a li­brary mem­ber with Som­er­set Re­gional Coun­cil of­fer­ing free stream­ing of se­lect movies.

Coun­cil has part­nered up with Bea­mafilm to stream award-win­ning doc­u­men­taries and in­de­pen­dent fea­ture films.

Re­gional li­brar­ian Caro­line Smith said the new ser­vice was all about pro­vid­ing more va­ri­ety.

“There are so many rea­sons to be a mem­ber of Som­er­set li­braries and now we are giv­ing res­i­dents just an­other rea­son to sign up and best of all, it’s free,” Ms Smith said

“Bea­mafilm... have com­piled a col­lec­tion of over 300 award-win­ning doc­u­men­taries, in­de­pen­dent fea­tures and fes­ti­val favourites to de­light, in­spire and en­ter­tain our mem­bers.”

There are branches at Esk, Lowood, Kil­coy and Too­goolawah.
