Men, rock a frock

MASCULINITY and fem­i­nin­ity will be fluid flow­ing on bingo night, with men en­cour­aged to rock a frock. Women will wear the pants for the night, with all funds raised go­ing towards Lock­yer Val­ley Rid­ing for the Dis­abled As­so­ci­a­tion.

What: Drag-themed bingo.

When: Thurs­day, August 30, from 7pm.

Where: Porters Plain­land Ho­tel.

Get ac­tive

DON’T watch the week­end roll by from the couch, get ac­tive and have fun with peo­ple from the com­mu­nity. With six races on of­fer, there’s a cat­e­gory for ev­ery­one from a 100m veteran race to a 1500m event that’ll get ev­ery­one’s blood pump­ing. What: 2018 Mul­go­wie Fun Run. COME along and en­joy a great morn­ing out in the coun­try con­nect­ing with lo­cal pro­duc­ers and crafts­peo­ple. With all the lo­cally grown fresh fruit and ve­g­ies, plants and craft items on of­fer, mar­ket pa­trons will be spoilt for choice.

PRO­FES­SIONAL wrestling big shots re­turn to Gat­ton for an­other night of body slams, ban­ter and bru­tal fight­ing. Queens­land Out­laws will take on the hus­band-wife duo from Ward Z in the Tag Team Cham­pi­onship Match.

What: Le­gends of the Val­ley Wrestling.
