Bag a big-wheel beauty

VICTORY Motorcycles has announced the arrival of the new Victory Magnum, a machine that could raise the bar on factory custom “baggers’’ to a higher level.

Starting with Victory’s Cross Country model, the Magnum adds a striking 21-inch front cast wheel, slammed back-end, three-tone paint scheme, and its best performing sound system ever — starring six speakers in-dash and 100 watts output.

This big wheel bagger also has the performance and handling to back it up, with Victory’s powerful Freedom 1731cc V-Twin housed in a sophisticated two-piece hollow aluminium frame.

According to Peter Harvey of Victory Motorcycles in Australia, the bagger trend is gathering real momentum locally.

“Customers have been asking for a custom build of this type,” he said. “For it to be available ex-factory with the largest production bagger wheel on the road coming standard, plus all the other features should make it irresistible.”

Features unique to the Victory Magnum include 21inch front wheel, one-inch lowered rear suspension, “boomerang” tinted windshield, colour matched painted dash, radiator shroud and rear fender close-outs, colour matched hinges, low-pro seat, LED headlight and sixspeaker, 100W audio system.

The new Magnum is available from $29,995 ride away. Expected arrival date in Australia is late November.
