FAMILY motoring just got a whole lot safer for Christmas with thousands of dollars worth of extra equipment for Citroen’s seven-seat Grand Picasso.

The free tech pack boasts more than $5000 optional safety equipment, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and Active Seatbelts. five-star Euro NCAPrated Grand C4 Picasso will also benefit from the addition of collision avoidance alert, electrochrome rear view mirror, xenon headlamps with Smart Beam and an electric tailgate at no extra cost.

Powered by efficient, powerful 2.0-litre turbo-diesel, paired a sixspeed automatic, the Grand C4 Picasso is priced from $43,990.

Citroen’s Shaun Mackle said additional safety specification arrives as families consider updating their vehicle ahead of the Christmas and New Year holiday period.

“With much Australia preparing for their annual summer holidays we thought it a great time to give them a little more value for their dollar.”

The added spec complements the recent addition of third row airconditioning all Grand C4 Picasso models. Picasso is backed by Citroen’s six-year, unlimited kilometre warranty.
