CITROEN Aus­tralia will launch its up­dated Citroen Ber­lingo light com­mer­cial van with a seg­ment-first stan­dard re­verse cam­era and 7-inch touch­screen, loaded Ap­ple Carplay, Mir­rorLink (An­droid), Siri Eyes Free Blue­tooth func­tion­al­ity.

The up­dates also ex­tend to the stan­dard­i­s­a­tion of Elec­tronic Sta­bil­ity Con­trol (ESP), Hill Start As­sist, trac­tion con­trol, dual sliding side doors (both left and right) with AUX and USB in­puts.

Styling has also been sub­tly re­worked, Citroen in­tro­duc­ing a new, op­tional look-pack for long-wheel­base Ber­lingo vari­ants and a new colour, Gris Shark (metal­lic grey), across the range. Long-body ve­hi­cles spec­i­fied with op­tional look pack gain; LED day­time-run­ning lamps, fog lamps with cor­ner­ing func­tion, colour coded bumper bars, wing mir­rors, colour coded door han­dles and side strips and new 15-inch Air­flow wheel cov­ers. The lo­cally de­vel­oped touch­screen

re­verse cam­era pack will add an ad­di­tional layer of safety con­ve­nience for pro­fes­sional driv­ers .

Driv­e­trains re­main un­changed with a 1.6-litre petrol mo­tor pow­er­ing the short body vari­ants, while long body vari­ants gain turbo-diesel man­ual or semi­au­to­matic. Avail­able from $21,990 for short

petrol man­ual, the Citroen Ber­lingo de­liv­ers ad­di­tional value when com­pared to its cat­e­gory ri­vals.
