CITROEN UPDATES BERLINGO
CITROEN Australia will launch its updated Citroen Berlingo light commercial van with a segment-first standard reverse camera and 7-inch touchscreen, loaded Apple Carplay, MirrorLink (Android), Siri Eyes Free Bluetooth functionality.
The updates also extend to the standardisation of Electronic Stability Control (ESP), Hill Start Assist, traction control, dual sliding side doors (both left and right) with AUX and USB inputs.
Styling has also been subtly reworked, Citroen introducing a new, optional look-pack for long-wheelbase Berlingo variants and a new colour, Gris Shark (metallic grey), across the range. Long-body vehicles specified with optional look pack gain; LED daytime-running lamps, fog lamps with cornering function, colour coded bumper bars, wing mirrors, colour coded door handles and side strips and new 15-inch Airflow wheel covers. The locally developed touchscreen
reverse camera pack will add an additional layer of safety convenience for professional drivers .
Drivetrains remain unchanged with a 1.6-litre petrol motor powering the short body variants, while long body variants gain turbo-diesel manual or semiautomatic. Available from $21,990 for short
petrol manual, the Citroen Berlingo delivers additional value when compared to its category rivals.
