RESALE VALUES LIFT
THE impending demise of the homegrown Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon is already spiking resale values. Performance cars from red
blue teams are showing stronger results this expected to continue beyond the shutdown dates of the two brands’ local factories.
Even less desirable Falcon and Commodore models predicted stand strong over next five years, according to industry watchers.
“Commodore V8 are all expected perform better than they have in the past as they exit the market. The same can be said for Falcon XR8 and XR6 Turbo models,” Glass’s Santo Amoddio tells CarsGuide.
“The resale of vehicles is improving significantly this trend is expected to continue once they are discontinued.”
“Other models Commodore and Falcon not perform as strongly.
However there will be additional demand for these cars they have some appeal to enthusiasts.”
