KIA Mo­tors has in­tro­duced a sub­brand, Drive Wise, to en­com­pass its fu­ture Ad­vanced Driver As­sis­tance Sys­tems (ADAS).

Wise em­bod­ies Kia’s phi­los­o­phy re­alise in­tel­li­gently safe ve­hi­cles fea­tur­ing the lat­est and forth­com­ing ADAS tech­nolo­gies.

Kia re­cently an­nounced plans to man­u­fac­turer par­tially au­ton­o­mous cars by 2020, and aims bring its first fully

ve­hi­cle to mar­ket 2030.

De­but­ing at the 2016 Con­sumer Elec­tron­ics Show (CES) in Las Ve­gas last week, Drive Wise tech­nolo­gies are un­der de­vel­op­ment. En­gi­neered to im­prove safety for all road users, will en­able Kia in­tro­duce in­tel­li­gent

its fu­ture model range, help­ing to elim­i­nate po­ten­tial dan­gers — and, for many, the bore­dom of driv­ing, while chang­ing ways in which own­ers in­ter­act with their cars. Kia’s CES dis­play il­lus­trated pro­gres­sion its au­ton­o­mous driv­ing tech­nolo­gies, from those avail­able in cur­rent mod­els to fea­tures be­ing de­vel­oped over the next 15 years un­der Drive Wise ban­ner.
