John Lasseter’s landmark eff ort won the hearts of kids and parents easily – by dazzling them with brilliant computer graphics and warming their hearts with well-rounded characters voiced by Tinseltown stars. Based on the premise that toys have their own lives when their owners are away, top of the toy box tree is Sheriff Woody ( voiced by Tom Hanks). However, his authority comes under threat from the newest and fanciest toy on the block – Buzz Lightyear ( voiced by Tim Allen) – who believes he really is an astronaut. The pair’s rivalry leaves them stranded away from home and they must join forces to get home safe. A treat for all ages.
