Director Barry Levinson ( Rain Man) received a lot of publicity for his classy deconstruction of sexual harassment boundaries. Michael Douglas plays a computer engineer and family man who is sexually harassed by his new boss Demi Moore ( pictured). When he rejects her advances, she turns on him. Darkly comic in many ways, the only way out for Douglas is a hi- tech virtual reality showdown – the sexist adage “it’s a man’s world” comes to mind in many of the film’s great ironies. Unexpectedly smart and playful.
