How far would you go to save a spouse convicted of murder? In this film from director Fred Cavayé, true love seems to know no bounds after Lisa and Julien’s ( Diane Kruger and Vincent London, both pictured) happy marriage is turned upside down when the police come to their home one morning to arrest Lisa for murder. She is sentenced to 20 years in prison. Convinced of her innocence, high- school teacher Julien devises a daring plan to help his wife escape. Kruger and London are superb, and if you can suspend your disbelief for the more ludicrous aspects of the plot, this French thriller is eminently satisfying.
