Chance to learn gourmet secrets
LOCAL wine and cheese lovers can experience a behind the scenes look at the process behind making both during a gourmet day at Austins & Co.
Partnering with Magic Meadow Produce to deliver the wine and cheese making day, Austins said those attending would get involved in pinot picking followed by a cheese making session among the vines.
Organisers said attendees would learn how to make gourmet feta, mascarpone and sour cream using local ingredients from Inglenook Dairy.
Participants will take home about 1kg of gourmet feta and a container of sour cream and mascarpone.
The event runs on March 4.
