ITALIAN and Spanish flavours will feature at Lethbridge winery’s upcoming wine launch.

Winery owner Maree Collis (pictured with Alex Byrne and Ray Nadeson) said wines from five vineyards sites would feature alongside a reserve from the Lethbridge site and the estate pinot that combined all five sites.

“It is a special year for us as we celebrate 21 years since we planted our first vineyard. A lot has happened in that 21 years, we’ve planted a vineyard, built a winery, raised a family and made some pretty nice wines,” she said.

“At this year’s event we will be releasing a very special six-pack of single vineyard Geelong pinot noir, including an early release 2015 Mietta, we’ll have a few of our small batch wines open for tasting, including our 2016 Sagrantino, 2014 Wanderlust Shiraz and the prerelease 2014 Allegra Chardonnay.”

The wine launch will be at the Burrows Rd winery from 2pm on October 21.
