Two gored by charging bulls
TWO men have been injured by bulls on a single day, in two unrelated events in NSW.
One has been left with a punctured lung after a bull charged at him on a property south of Narrabri.
The 54-year-old was gored on Saturday morning with the bull’s horn pierced the man in the chest, puncturing his lung and causing other chest injuries.
He was airlifted to Tamworth Hospital and is in a serious condition.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man received leg injuries after a bull trampled him at Stroud in the Hunter region.
He was airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
