Move’s happy landing
A MELBOURNE family preparing to relocate to Geelong with WorkSafe was celebrating on Saturday after buying a renovated cottage in Geelong West.
Amelia Vercoe and Akaash Dhillon cannot wait to move down the highway and into 1 Thomas St with their sevenmonth-old Ari.
They bought the threebedroom house for $672,000 at auction, holding their nerve to fend off one other contender through 16 bids.

But they were rapt to have found one with a childcare centre nearby and with a cafe and shopping strip within walking distance.
