IT’S that time of year that has footy and net­ball fans buzzing.

And there was plenty of buzz among sup­port­ers at The Gor­don Tafe Oval in St Al­bans on Satur­day as In­ver­leigh played in its first foot­ball grand fi­nal since the re­birth of the club 15 years ago.

It was not a fairy­tale fin­ish for the club, but its op­po­nent, Bell Post Hill, made the at­mos­phere elec­tric with its sev­enth GDFL premier­ship since 2010.
