Many plans to keep star Crow grounded again

STOPPING Adelaide’s Eddie Betts won’t just fall to one Geelong defender in Friday night’s preliminar­y final blockbuste­r. The Cats are likely to share the job on Betts, with both Zach Tuohy and Jed Bews in line to spend considerab­le time on the crafty forward. Who starts on the Adelaide goalkickin­g genius is yet to be decided, although Tuohy is happy to nominate his defensive teammate for the job. “Jed is in great form. At least that’s what I’m telling ‘Scarlo’ (Geelong assistant coach Matthew Scarlett),” Tuohy joked.
