Rosehaven ABC, 9.05pm

Featuring best friends Emma (Celia Pacquola) and Daniel (Luke McGregor), Rosehaven’s odd couple buck the sitcom trend by never teasing the possibility of romance. More like brother and sister, Pacquola and McGregor’s chemistry sparks the cozy and sweet series. Tonight, tensions are flamed when a blackout in the small Tassie town ruins everyone’s evening. Daniel and girlfriend Grace’s (Katie Robertson) romantic dinner is replaced by a candlelit night in with his abrasive mother Barbara (Kris McQuade) and Emma, of course. Snappy dialogue and fiercely flawed characters make this lovable series a standout.
