CLASSIC Australian films on a big screen and a refreshing local Geelong brew sound like a good combination.

The

agrees, with the South Geelong complex bringing back its outdoor cinema for a five-week run this summer.

“The warmer months are the perfect time to get out and relax under the stars,” Furphy’s marketing manager, said.

“We wanted to create a memorable experience through our outdoor cinema and we can’t wait to kick things off in January.”

The cinema will be held on Wednesday nights from January 31, with Aussie favourites Chopper, Strictly Ballroom, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Red Dog and Mad Max to be screened.
