PORTARLING­TON MUSSEL FESTIVAL

Seafood will take centre stage on the Bellarine Peninsula this weekend, with Portarling­ton’s muchloved mussel festival returning. Come taste some of the best mussels in the state, enjoy local food and wine, and keep the kids entertaine­d with clowns and face painting. Entry is only $2. Port Phillip Ferries will be running a service from the Geelong waterfront at noon, return service departing Portarling­ton at 3.45pm.

COTTAGE BY THE SEA ANNUAL FAIR

CHILDREN’S charity Cottage by the Sea will be holding its annual fair today, from 9am-2pm. A great family fun day out, full entertainm­ent for people of all ages. Entry is a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going towards the programs Cottage by the Sea hosts for at-risk youth around the region. Located at 29 Flinders St, Queensclif­f.
