Thieves take car keys, power tools
HOMES in Newtown and Corio had burglaries with computers and jewellery targeted.
In Geelong West offenders stole vehicle keys as well as computers and jewellery, while cash and jewellery was stolen in Torquay.
Power tools and building materials were taken in Mount Moriac and Charlemont.
Jewellery was stolen from St Leonards and power tools were taken from Highton. IN Geelong offenders have hit a chemist, department store and retailer.
A church and retailer in Grovedale were targeted.
In Breakwater cash and a computer were stolen from a business and cash and credit cards were taken from a factory.
Building materials were stolen from a construction site in Highton and from a retailer in South Geelong.
Computers were stolen from a fast-food outlet in Drysdale.
A school in Portarlington and licensed premises in Newcomb were also hit. VEHICLES were stolen from driveways or homes in Corio and Norlane.
A car was taken from a shed in Mount Moriac.
A North Geelong car saleyard was also targeted.
A Holden stolen from Norlane was recovered in Fyansford, while another was found in Lara. A Volkswagen stolen from Geelong West was located in Lovely Banks. CASH was stolen from cars in Torquay and Corio.
In Moolap a laptop was taken along with a purse.
Cars in Corio were targeted mainly at the shopping centre.
Cars were also taken from Geelong foreshore.
In Geelong West and Torquay vehicles were interfered with parked in the street and driveways.
Numberplates were taken from cars parked at homes in Geelong West, at a Corio shopping centre and in the street, at North Geelong carpark and the train station in Waurn Ponds. IN Corio damage included graffiti at the train station, a vehicle in the street and a window at the shopping complex.
In Geelong a window at a milk bar was damaged and there was graffiti at the train station carpark. Vehicles parked in the street were also damaged.
Other damages included homes, including one under construction in Norlane.
Ministry of Housing premises in Newcomb and Norlane were also damaged.
There was graffiti at a warehouse in North Geelong, at the train station in Little River and an open space in Torquay.
