STATE OF PLAY NEEDS SHAPELY NEW STADIUM

Geelong Advertiser - - YOUR SAY -

AS a Melbourne Victory member, the suitability of Kardinia Park for hosting rectangular sports such as soccer, rugby league and union and AFL X must be questioned.

The venue is a long, narrow oval, the seats do not retract like at Docklands, and the seating is far from the action.

While Kardinia Park is suitable for footy and cricket, Geelong does need a rectangular stadium.

$100 million would be a great start, John Eren.

Build it and they will come. Billy Deikos, Grovedale
