BUS SERVICE, DRIVERS NEED TO BE BETTER

Geelong Advertiser - - YOUR SAY -

WHEN they train these bus drivers, do they kit them out with blinkers like cart horses? No peripheral vision!

I’m 73, standing in the middle of Pioneer Rd with two bags of shopping, and the No 42 bus is right in front of me. I can’t cross the last line of traffic as the lights are against me.

The bus driver looks straight ahead, and I wave and shout but to no avail. He looks straight ahead and takes off. How frustrating!

There’s no customer service. They need better training or more buses. The 42 is a joke anyway. It takes 45 minutes to get from Grovedale to town. Just not on. George Mitchell, Grovedale
