This Is Us TEN, 9.40pm

Geelong Advertiser - - TV -

Grab a towel. Tonight, the Pearson family sit down for a therapy session. In what must be one of the most intense hours of TV ever produced, a box of tissues simply isn’t going to cut it. A hardy, big towel should do the trick. Before you run away, intimated and scared by the prospect of yet more tear-stained emotional upheaval, rest assured that, like any good therapy, “The Fifth Wheel” is a cathartic and healing affair – even if it features some of the most uncomfortable moments on TV. Without giving anything away about the poignant and affecting scenes, Kevin (a scene-stealing Sterling K. Brown) is able to address his feelings of inadequacy.
