Pies hoping for fightback

FIFTH-placed South Barwon must make light work of North Geelong, starting today, if the Swans are to stay in touch with finals.

Joint on 30 points with fourthplaced Grovedale and sixth-placed Geelong City, the Tigers have struggled to maintain form, winning their first three, losing their next four and then winning the following two before last week’s loss to City.

North Geelong, last season’s grand finalist, has not won since Round 5, but showed tremendous fight last week to deny Leopold outright points.
