“The business has been running for more than 40 years,” said Mr Larkins. “It started as a service station and mechanical workshop. “Having happy and safe customers is our main objective and we create lasting relationships. “Some families have been coming here since the workshop opened.”

Offering service and repairs on most makes and models, Highton Automotive Services can handle and variety of European, Asian and locally-built cars.

They can be trusted to take care of new car and log book servicing, 4WD servicing and repairs, roadworthy certificates, RACV prepurchase inspections, child seat installation and even caravan and trailer servicing. They have invested in the latest diagnostic equipment featuring many different scan tools for most makes and models.

Every inconvenience has been considered and customers can take advantage of the generous free loan vehicles or their local customer pick up and drop off service.

John and the team of nine staff dedicate themselves to obtaining the best possible outcomes and want all of their clients to drive away happy. “Our customers all receive a courtesy car wash and vacuum with services,” he said.

They are also heavily community focused. “We love to support our local community and sponsor many local schools, kindergarten, football, bowls and golf clubs.”
