Headbutt, severed finger — another day in court for Depp

Geelong Advertiser - - NEWS - STEPHEN DRILL

PIRATES of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp “accidentally” headbutted ex-wife Amber Heard and painted “I love U” in blood with his severed finger on a mirror in a house he trashed in Australia.

The actor’s bizarre libel case in London’s High Court has produced more startling claims, including allegations he took 10 ecstasy pills in two hours and drew a penis on a picture of a woman in a bikini.

Damage to the house in Australia during a “three-day ordeal of assaults” on Heard in March 2015 was $150,000, the court heard.

Depp denied he told Heard “Look what you made me do” when she saw the damage.

Sasha Wass, QC, who is defending The Sun newspaper over an article that called

Depp a “wife beater”, put to the actor that he had used his severed finger instead of a paintbrush to graffiti a mirror.

Depp, who claims his finger was severed by a bottle of vodka thrown at him by Heard, replied: “At first, I had used my blood.”

In an incident in Los Angeles in 2015, Depp said he “accidentally” headbutted Heard.

Depp said he had only headbutted her in the “f-----forehead”, which he said “didn’t break a nose”, according to a recording of the actor played in court.
