City needs education forum

Geraldton Guardian - - Opinion - Conor Buckley, Geraldton

I read that the Independent Review into Regional, Rural and Remote Education will hold community forums in Northam, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, and Albany. I am a teacher in Geraldton. The fundamental problem with such a review is they are ignorant of, or choose to ignore, a city of some 40,000 people.

This is not to mention Karratha, Broome or Kununurra. It would be a more efficient use of taxpayers’ money if the review body stayed in Canberra and googled the information.
