Woman on drink-driving charges
A woman allegedly caught drinkdriving with an unrestrained toddler on her lap has made a brief appearance in a Geraldton court.
Camelia Marie Wingo was charged with driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, no authority to drive and failing to ensure a passenger older than six months and younger than four years old was restrained. She appeared in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on Friday to face charges related to the alleged incident on August 16 in Rangeway and Utakarra. She also faced another drink-driving charge and other charges relating to an incident on July 22 in Geraldton. She is to next appear on September 21.
