Geraldton Guardian - - The Sauce -

The documentary Mountain will screen at Orana Cinemas tomorrow night as part of Film Harvest Midwest.

The film is unlike most conventional documentaries, instead taking viewers on a cinematic and musical odyssey as it explores society’s obsession with mountains.

Just three centuries ago, climbing a mountain was considered an act of lunacy, but now mountains entice thousands into their domain, often claiming lives.

Mountain is an intriguing collaboration between acclaimed director Jennifer Peedom and the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and is shot by the world’s best adventure cinematographers.

Tickets for the 6.15pm show can be bought at Orana Cinemas, or by visiting oranacinemas.com.au.

Mountain is a beautiful and intriguing exploration of society’s fascination with mountains.
