Cus­tomer event goes off with a bang

Rigters Su­per­mar­ket Group has spon­sored Aus­tralia Day cel­e­bra­tions in Ger­ald­ton for the past two years and has so far made fi­nan­cial con­tri­bu­tions of al­most $20,000.

Other con­tri­bu­tions in­clude $150,000 to Ger­ald­ton schools in the year-long Shop For Your School pro­gram, $10,000 a month to var­i­ous non-profit groups and par­tic­i­pa­tion in the 2018 Ride to Con­quer Cancer and the Vin­nies CEO Sleep­out.

This year, the group put al­most $8000 to­wards the fire­works show and a func­tion for cus­tomers was held at Ger­ald­ton Mul­tipur­pose Cen­tre to cel­e­brate the oc­ca­sion.
