Summer foot care
The Foot Pod Podiatry Clinic’s Rachel Timmins offers her top tips for good foot care during the summer months:
• Make sure that when you are in communal areas such as the beach you wear footwear. This will help stop infections and the spread of warts.
• Ensure regular care of hard skin. Go to your podiatrist regularly and use a good heel balm, such as Eulactol Heel Balm Gold.
• If you have any corns or calluses, see a podiatrist for treatment.
• If you experience any foot pain, don’t leave it because foot pain will often get worse if left untreated. See your podiatrist.
