Woman dies after car strikes tree
A woman died and two other people are in a serious condition after a car hit a tree at Eurardy, near Northampton and Kalbarri, on Thursday.
Police said the 37-year-old was a passenger in a white Mitsubishi ASX travelling south on North West Coastal Highway about 3.30pm when the crash occurred.
The driver, a 65-year-old woman, along with a seven-year-old boy and a six-month-old girl, were injured. All three were taken to Geraldton Hospital for treatment and later flown by Royal Flying Doctor Service to Royal Perth Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital. The girl was later discharged. The driver and the boy were yesterday listed as serious but stable.
