LET’S TALK DEMENTIA
How to maintain brain health and support those with dementia will be discussed at a free information session in Geraldton on October 11.
Dementia Australia will host the “Let’s talk dementia” session at The Gerald Apartment Hotel from 10.45am to noon.
Topics will include the causes and symptoms of dementia and looking after your brain at any stage of life.
Organisers said the event was suitable for anyone wanting to learn more about dementia.
According to Dementia Australia, an estimated 1939 people in the Federal electorate of Durack, which takes in Geraldton, are living with dementia.
That number is expected to increase to 3273 by 2028 and 6808 by 2058. Bookings for the information session are essential. Inquiries: phone 9225 4094.
