The Civil Avi­a­tion Safety Au­thor­ity will run a free sem­i­nar in Ger­ald­ton on Sun­day to teach pi­lots more about han­dling safety threats, in­clud­ing bad weather and me­chan­i­cal prob­lems.

The sem­i­nar aims to re­duce pilot er­ror in fuel mis­man­age­ment, in­cor­rectly ap­ply­ing air­craft set­tings and nav­i­ga­tion mis­takes.

A story in Tues­day’s Ger­ald­ton Guardian (“Safer fly­ing”, page 4) said the event would take place in Urch Street, how­ever, the cor­rect venue is the Mid­west Aero Club at Ger­ald­ton Air­port.

The event will start at 2pm.
