A 27-year-old woman has been fined $1500 for trespassing at a Wandina home.
Alyssa Norma Ryan pleaded guilty to the offence in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Police prosecutor Senior Constable Lauren Cameron said an occupant of the home saw Ryan trying to open a garage door about 11pm on April 9. When asked to leave, she became argumentative. She was later arrested and made a full admission to police.
Defence counsel Xavier Sallathambu said his client had told him she was “probably under the influence of drugs” at the time of the incident.
