WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT TARA’S JOURNEY IN THE FILM?
After the series, she had issues with her body and she’s trying to figure out what to do next, now that she’s no longer at school and her life isn’t laid out for her. She has to find her own way and see how far she’s willing to go to get what she wants. I think it’s a journey we all go through when we leave school or university. You have to figure out your own way and it can be really hard.
WHAT WAS IT LIKE FILMING IN NEW YORK?
Xenia Goodwin, seen here on the movie set of Dance Academy, is brutally honest about what is involved in playing the role of Tara. I can’t really put it into words – it was so insane. The city just provided such an exciting backdrop for the film. For one scene they found this wonderful rooftop and it had the most incredible vista across the city, I almost couldn’t concentrate because I was so mesmerised by the view.
