WHAT CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT TARA’S JOURNEY IN THE FILM?

After the series, she had issues with her body and she’s trying to figure out what to do next, now that she’s no longer at school and her life isn’t laid out for her. She has to find her own way and see how far she’s willing to go to get what she wants. I think it’s a journey we all go through when we leave school or university. You have to figure out your own way and it can be really hard.

WHAT WAS IT LIKE FILMING IN NEW YORK?

Xenia Goodwin, seen here on the movie set of Dance Academy, is brutally honest about what is involved in playing the role of Tara. I can’t really put it into words – it was so insane. The city just provided such an exciting backdrop for the film. For one scene they found this wonderful rooftop and it had the most incredible vista across the city, I almost couldn’t concentrate because I was so mesmerised by the view.

WHAT WAS IT LIKE CATCHING UP WITH EVERYONE ON SET AGAIN?

That was one of the biggest highlights for me. I hadn’t seen a lot of the guys for such

When we found out Dance Academy was being made into a movie we legit lost our chill. So you can imagine how psyched we were to chat to the stars of the film!
