SUPERMODEL

So how did you get your start as a model?

I entered the GF Model Search in 2004 and was lucky enough to be one of the six finalists. I was only 13 at the time, so it took a few years before my career really started.

What message do you have for girls with a dream like yours?

My advice would be, nothing worth having in life comes easy – it’s all about hard work and dedication. But it is all worth it. Never stop striving for something you’re passionate about.

Tell us about a challenge you’ve faced in your career?

One of the main challenges when I first got into the industry was I was incredibly shy, which isn’t ideal for a model. It took quite a few years for me to overcome it, but luckily I had a very supportive agency and family that helped me along the way.

How do you think the next generation of girls can change the world?

By being very conscious of environmental and human rights issues, and giving back whenever it’s possible.

This Vogue cover girl is nothing less than ~iconic~.
