CADDIE IN YOUR POCKET

Golf Australia - - PRO SHOP -

A caddie is a luxury, and advantage, few golfers are afforded. While other GPS units deliver part of the caddie experience, the new Caddie Chip does so in the form of a poker-chip sized device that doubles as a ball marker.

Connecting to a free mobile app via Bluetooth, the press of a button on the Caddie Chip results in your phone voicing the remaining distance to the green. And if held down, the button allows you to track your shots for post-round analysis and even utilise an electronic scorecard on the App.

The App, which is pre-loaded with 60,000 courses and can store 10 at a time, also features a display of the hole you are playing. With your position located and with a touch of the screen, it quickly produces layup and hazard distances. And the only data used is to download the course you are playing. RRP: $89, plus $7.50 postage and handling. Contact: To purchase or find out more about the Caddie Chip go to www.golfscene.com.au or call 1300 852 433.
