Quit worrying about money

and it will help to prevent thinning hair. People with the highest levels of financial stress look like they have aged more over a decade than people with lower levels of financial stress, shows a study.

The reason? It could be that people with money worries don’t pay as much attention to their appearance. But stress also accelerates the ageing process and contributes to hair loss in women – and financial stress takes a bigger toll on appearance than other types of stress, say researchers.

Make it work by: Writing down what’s worrying you about money and seeing a financial advisor to draw up a budget.

Not only does that physically clear space in your brain so that you can focus on other tasks, it also means you’re not trying to shelve or ignore what’s worrying you. That’s a good strategy because glossing over worries only increases anxiety levels in the long run. #
