Should I exercise when detoxing?
Mild exercise is okay as it actually stimulates the lymphatic system, which helps rid the body of toxins. But I don’t recommend strenuous exercise as this will zap the energy that the body may be using for the detox process. It can also be dangerous as there’s a good chance you may be feeling more light-headed and not be as focused as usual, which could lead to injury. So stick to a light walk, cycle, or other gentle movement patterns such as aqua-aerobics, if you still want to remain active while detoxing.
