CARTIER ‘CLÉ DE CARTIER MYSTERIOUS HOURS’

GQ (Australia) - - WATCH -

Like the ‘Tank’, ‘Ballon Bleu’ or ‘Santos’, Cartier added another icon to the family with the launch of the ‘Clé’ collection at last year’s SIHH. Clé, French for key, refers to its beautiful sapphire-finished crown and also pays homage to the ‘mystery clock’, invented in the late 19th century. Hands in the centre of a transparent dial appear to be floating, while the intricacies of the watch movement are hidden to the side, so you can see straight through the transparent watch face to the skin.
